A new reader- please introduce yourself here!

I saw this on another person's blog and I loved the idea, so I am borrowing it for mine :)

I'd love to get to know all my readers, so please take a moment to comment and answer the following questions...

1. Tell me a little about yourself and how your found my blog.
2. Do you have a blog? If so, tell me the address so I can check it out!
3. What do you think about Allegorically Speaking?
4. Do you have any suggestions or topics you'd like to read about?

Thanks again for visiting my blog and sharing!

  1. I'll start, lol!

    1. Michelle- I love to write and teach. I rarely miss a day writing in my journal. I crochet eat lots of treats that aren't good for me, then complain about my weight! And I created this blog :)
    2. I actually have three! You can find links to the other two on the right side bar.
    3. I hope it moves people to see the world a little differently, think outside the box and find joy and miracles in the oddest of places!
    4. Just whatever hits me!

  2. 1- Becca - just another LDS blogger. I can't remember how I found your blog... I think it was through another blog I read... it was a while ago, sorry :-/
2- yup, I have a blog - My Soul Delighteth. And some other blogs, but you can check out the other ones on my profile.
3- I LOVE Allegorically Speaking. It's my favorite of your blogs (I haven't really checked out Gospel Simplicity, to be honest, but I really REALLY like this blog. I love a good allegory).
4- No suggestions - just keep writing! It's really nice to read.

    1. Thanks Becca! I just stopped by your blog and I LOVE it!

  3. I found your blog because I made a statement on Facebook about "You Can't Ride a Dead Horse" to someone and one of their friends took offence because they thought I was referring to them. So I searched to find how I could explain what the phrase meant since they seem to never to have heard it. But the person explained that I was not talking about them anyway. In fact I thought everyone had heard that phrase and knew what it meant.

I am glad I found your blog. I really enjoyed reading the article referring to riding a dead horse. It was beneficial to me as well. I hope you don't mind that I used some of your statements to the person that I had sent the message in the first place. I will continue to follow your blog from time to time. Great stuff you write.

    1. Glad you found my blog! Happy to have you here. I don't mind you using my words to help clarify the meaning. :) I hope you stop by again!!

  4. 1. I'm Lisa. I love being a Mother to my kids. I love sewing and knitting. I love the church. I found your blog through Twitter. Not sure how I found you, I think it was through the suggestions Twitter gives you. I'm glad I took time to look.

    2. Yeah I do. is the one I am really working on now. I also have my wedding business

    3. I love it. Very throughtful/relaxing. I love deep thinking. Plus it's really nice to connect with Relief Society Sisters all over the country!

    4. Nah, just write what's in your heart.
